Title: Story Mosaic
: Sharing Stories: Building Community
Theme: My Unsung Hero: Mentors of a Moment
Date/Time: Friday, May 10th, 2024 | 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Location: Community Commons, 1700
The Story Mosaic is a storytelling initiative with the goal of bringing the DU Community together to foster connection and inspire growth and change through the stories shared.
As a DU Community, we thrive to find commonalities across differences and establish a constructive environment in which we can successfully learn from one another.
The event is open to everyone, and we welcome stories from students, staff, faculty, and alumni.
The Theme this quarter is: "My Unsung Hero: Mentors of a Moment" and is led by Laura Perille and the 4D Symposium Team.
It offers a platform for individuals to celebrate and acknowledge the often-unsung heroes who have significantly contributed to their personal and professional growth. By sharing stories, we not only honor these mentors but also inspire and encourage others in the community, fostering a culture of learning, appreciation, and connectedness.
This event aims to highlight the silent yet powerful exchanges that shape our journeys, reminding us that even brief moments of mentorship can have a lasting influence on our lives and aspirations.
Please note that mentors can be anyone who has positively impacted your journey, so it can be a friend, fellow student, staff or faculty!
