By submitting this petition I understand that:
  1. Non-JD courses taken at SCOL will be calculated into my cumulative GPA, but will be excluded from my JD grade point average, which determines ranking. Courses taken on the quarter outside of SCOL will not be calculated into my cumulative semester GPA, but must earn a grade of "C or better" to apply towards the JD degree;
  2. I am responsible for understanding that other University of Denver Program courses are on a quarter to semester credits and that the class /final exam dates are different from the law school semester timeframe. For further information about converting quarters to semester credits, please contact the SCOL Registrar's Office;
  3. I understand that non-JD credits, even those taken within the Law School’s Tax Program, are counted towards total out of class credits. Please be sure that you have calculated your out of class credits to know whether you can take these non-JD courses. Please contact the Law Registrar with any questions about calculating out of class credits.
You must attach a list of the course description for each course you are interested in registering for.
Please see the Student Handbook for additional information: https://www.law.du.edu/resources/current-students/student-handbook/registering-for-courses.
