Thank you for your interest in the Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) awards! One student leader, one faculty member, and one office or department will be recognized and be celebrated during the GAAD event on May 15, 2025.

The strongest nominations will provide specific details and examples about how the nominee met or exceeded the criteria listed. Make sure you answer each question directly, referencing specific examples about context, action, and impact. Completing the form fully may take up to 20 minutes, so please make sure to give yourself ample time to reflect and write.

Please note eligibility for each category:
- Student Leader: this award will recognize a member of the DU community whose primary affiliation with DU is taking classes
- Accessible & Inclusive Classroom Experience: this award will recognize a faculty member, meaning an academic employee of the university who works in teaching and/or research
- Accessible & Inclusive Office or Department: this award will recognize a division of the university that coordinates functions for a field of study (for example, the Biology Department) or for a non-academic part of the university (for example, the Financial Aid Office)
