SUMMER LINK 2025
Tuesday, July 22nd  - Saturday, July 26th, 2025 
To all Volunteers in Partnership (VIP) Students, Parents, School Partners, Recommenders, and DU Friends: 
Our Summer Link application is now open! Summer Link will be accepting current sophomores/rising juniors from a Colorado High School to spend five days on the beautiful University of Denver (DU) Campus and give them an introduction to college life.

Students will experience ​​Intensive academic classes taught by DU professors.
Workshops in leadership, financial aid, time management, study skills, and how to prepare for college and your future. On-campus housing and dining. Mentoring from DU VIP student leaders coordinating the program.

Who should apply?
Students who have academic interests and potential. Summer Link is designed to support and develop students who plan to attend college, as well as those who may think college is not available to them.  First Generation Students from the following VIP partner schools will be prioritized 
  • Abraham Lincoln High School
  • Denver Center for International Studies
  •  Denver School of Science and Technology: Green Valley Ranch
  • Denver School of Science and Technology: Montview
  • East High School
  • Hinkley High School
  • Pinnacle Charter School
  • South High School
  • West Campus  
We encoruage First Gen Students from other schools to also apply, but spots are limited.


How to apply:  Submit a high school transcript.
Students and parents/legal guardians MUST sign the application. Your printed names will constitute your signatures

Monday, May 12th, at 11:59 p.m. Students will be selected and notified within the last week of June!
