Alcohol Approval Form

In order to have alcohol at your Law event, please be aware of the following:
  • Requests must be made no later than 10 business days prior to the event.
  • If any students will attend your event, you must utilize drink tickets (strictly 2 drink tickets per person). The student organization member(s) are in charge of properly distributing the tickets.
  • Drink tickets, along with a list of current Law students can be obtained by the Student Affair's office. Events with students only will generally not be approved for alcohol. Please note, there are current students under the age of 21. Thus, a student list is important to confirm this information while distributing drink tickets.
  • If your event is over 50 people, you will need to fill out an Alcohol Event Registration Form with Campus Safety.
  • Catering is required when serving alcohol at an event.
  • Alcohol may only be served at events by a third party vendor. The Risk Management Department at the University of Denver maintains a list of approved third party vendors who may be contacted by student groups.
  • Student organization funds may not be used to purchase alcohol.
