All-faculty Call for Pilot "Dialogue Across Difference" (DIAD) Course Attribute
During increasingly polarized times in a growingly divided world, we invite you to help our undergraduate students think about and practice “dialogue across difference” in all its many forms. Please join us in piloting a new interdisciplinary “Dialogue Across Difference” course attribute, “DIAD” (pronounced: “dyad”).
How can I have my new or existing course included in the pilot?
To include your course, simply fill in the Qualtrics form below (one Qualtrics form per each separate course title) with the undergraduate course title, course description (from the syllabus), and separate 1-5 sentence “DIAD description” to students as to what skills, theories, expressions, or practices your course offers related to the above or related topics. (***Please write the 1-5 sentences as if you’re writing directly to undergraduate students).
There is no review process for the pilot. All courses for which you put forth a “DIAD description” will be included in the pilot. We aim to have the pilot DIAD attribute up and running by Spring 2023.
