Join the Animal Law Program for a lunchtime advocacy talk with Christopher Berry of the Nonhuman Rights Project (NhRP)!
The NhRP is the only civil rights organization in the United States dedicated solely to securing rights for nonhuman animals. Christopher Berry is the Executive Director for the NhRP, responsible for overseeing action to secure legal rights for animals through litigation, legislation, education, and other efforts. Prior to working at the NhRP, Christopher helped manage litigation at the Animal Legal Defense Fund where he specialized in private civil enforcement of animal protection laws and related issues such as standing, justiciability, and procedure. Christopher earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan School of Law and a B.S. in political science from the University of South Dakota.
