Join the Animal Law Program for a lunchtime advocacy talk with Bina Ahmad!

Bina Ahmad (she/her) is a social justice attorney working in the fields of criminal defense, civil rights, international human rights, and animal rights. She primarily works on the criminalization of poverty, prosecutor accountability, and police abuse. Bina practiced for nearly a decade as a public defender, with the Legal Aid Society of New York City and The Office of the Federal Public Defender in Los Angeles.

During her talk, Bina will discuss creative, intersectional advocacy and legal arguments to bring animal liberation under the umbrella of all social justice struggles, and how to show that animal liberation matters for all social justice movements.
