Petition to Request Additional Out-of-Class Credits

Use this petition to request additional out of class credits and/or adjustments to out of class credit limits. You may also use this petition to request additional externship credits. Students cannot take more than a total of twenty-five (25) out-of-class credit hours from the following sources:

Externships (limited to 15 field credits or 19 for Semester-In-Practice; externship seminars do NOT count as out of class credit)
The non-classroom component of clinical courses
Journals
Directed Research/Directed Experiential Project
Courses in Law School Graduate Programs
Graduate Courses Outside the Law School
