We are now taking Something to Say greeting card and magnet orders! Our high quality cards and magnets are a great way to say something when you struggle to find words that communicate empathy and compassion when people you care about are going through tough stuff in life. The cards are a collaboration between Montessori Academy of Colorado (MAC) Elementary Students and MAC Artist in Residence Erin Willer (Associate Professor of Communication Studies, University of Denver). Their project included lessons on empathy, compassion, and how to support children when they face life’s difficulties, such as being “different,” friendship struggles, and the loss of a loved one. Each card represents the work of multiple students, which Erin assembled and gently detailed. One hundred percent of the net profits of the cards go to Judi’s House, a Denver non-profit that supports grieving children and their families.
Please complete the below survey to order your cards and magnets. We take only cash or check. If you are a MAC community member you will leave your payment at the front desk and your order will be placed in your family/staff folder. If you are a University of Denver community member, you will be contacted to arrange payment delivery and order pick up on campus (details below). All others will mail checks to MAC and your order will be shipped to you (shipping fees apply, details below). Given we are a small team, your order could take two to three weeks to be delivered after payment is received.
